Dear friends and members of ITLA, the International Terraced Landscapes Alliance,

finally I can send you the revised announcement of the Second International Congress on Terraced Landscapes, which has 2 parts:
the field trips between May 14 and 18, and the Conference itself between May 19 and 22, 2014 to be held in Cusco, Peru.
After the Second World Conference Condesan is organising the Global Mountain Forum on May 23 and 24. See their website for further information.

Please contact Yasmin Fernandez from the Centro Bartolomé de las Casas in Cusco and Luzmila Rosales from Condesan in Lima for further information on registration form, logistics, hotel reservation, etc. if you have planned to come. Copy me in your communications so that I also can follow up and I know the members of ITLA joining the Second International Conference in Cusco. The Italian section of ITLA has already decided to offer the organisation and venue for the Third International Conference in a terraced mountain area of Italy in the coming years.

Maruja Salas and myself will be in Peru after April 15, when we will be joining actively the organisation committee. I will be sending from now on regular news about preparations.
