The 12th Congress of the International Society for the Study of the Dry Stone will be held from September 4th to 6th at the University of Cumbria (UK). The ‘SPS’ will regularly bring together enthusiasts of this traditional technique from all over Europe. The ALPTER Project will present a follow-up initiative: the ‘Adopt a terrace’ programme, which is being tested in Veneto, in the River Brenta Valley, promoted by the Italian Alpine Club and the University of Padua.
